i am just wondering is scratching on the ps2 the same as scratching on a real turntable. i mean can i use the exact same movments with the cross fader and the ps2 as i would on a real turntable and get the exact same scaratch?

the platter is smaller so the amount that you move the platter will be less than on a conventional 12" platter, hence a shorter stride.
