I recent purchased the pro-mix dual controller. And I just finding out that it has limitations. I know that the hardware/software is discontinued, but will anyone design a driver that will make the hardware comply with midi codes. I don't care about the software. It is the hardware I want. Or tell me the language is the software designed. My intention is to use the hardware with other software.

Once again, I know pro-mix is discontinued, all I want if the source codes, so I can get a someone to redesign the drivers/firmware to work in midi codes

p.s. if there an admin listen to my message why don't american dj sell the rights and ownership to a company that will use this product?

Or will the DAC-1, DAC-2, or DAC-3 drivers work with pro-mix hardware?

Mannnn.. this is my tech support.. I been hunting for the item for 1 year, now I get this bunk software. Hardware that only works with a software that is discontinued.. tech support or whoever works with this unit won't upgrade there own software and will not give the language program to the software so we can figure out, and ask a programmer to help to fix our problem.. Why did you really discontinued this product? I read from another dj's message asking the tech for pro-mix help.. All we really want is the hardware.. LISTEN MAN!!! ALL WE WANT IS THE HARDWARE... SO GIVE US A NEW DRIVER THAT COMPLY WITH OTHER SOFTWARE!!! YOU CAN MAKE THE DRIVER TRIGGED BY KEYWORD BUTTON ON A KEYBOARD.. COME ON AMERICAN DJ SUPPORT.. DON'T LEAVE US LIKE THIS!!!

I think you may have to resign to the fact that the product is discontinued. Meaning, no further support can be given. The Pro Mix controller/software combo was Proprietary. Meaning: They only work with each other, not other software/hardware. StevieRay suggested contacting ****, maybe they can code support into their software somehow.
For the money it would cost you to have someone develop a driver to work with other software, you could get another MP3 controller.
However, it is just a serial interface. If you (or a friend) is good at tinkering/programming, you may be able to decode the output, and work on your own driver.

Good luck.
