I recently moved up to the new mellinimum hahah and have my music on my laptop now..I use PCDJ Blue version...I will admit it sure is a heck of lot lighter going to gigs now..no more carpted case with all the goodies inside (weight is almost 120 with everything) now I take my amp, laptop, power strip...well you get the idea.,..Curious has usuing laptops changed the way yo do gigs now or do you think laptops are not any good for you...curious to know

I prefer a hands on feel when mixing, but I have brought a laptop with for years using PCDJ REDVRM for cocktails/dinner. I also use Visitrax on it for finding some songs I own on CD. The other thing I do is make a PowerPoint presentation for the names during formal intro's at weddings. It makes it easiers to only see each couples name a page at a time during intro's rather than all the names on one sheet. I never get names mixed up this way.

I use EXCEL as my data base for all my songs...I do like the Powerpoint idea...thanks
