I just bought a ck-1000 i have never dj in my life..(am a drum n bass composer originaly and i use live ableton to play live at underground events which is a hasle..bring the sound card laptop mixer 16 etc etc)...Now i m having a hell lot of fun with this mini studio, i can now play my tracks in mixes, which make my life way easier...just wanted to say that till now am happy with that product...there is one thing that i cant figure out thu, that is the functionning of the tap button,....it doesn t seem to affect the bpm of my disc but only the on screen bpm..can anyone tell me what am doing wrong...or is it just used as a visual reference.also for such a small price what is supose to be the life span of that machine...i love it and am worry that i ll have to get a new one every year or 6 month...which would be a big "turn off" if i can say.Other than that i saw in this machine also the concept which i believe is revolutionnary.A-audio really created somethin amazing..not like other company..the ones that let u buy piece by piece till u are ruined. If you could create a machine a bit more expensive but that can live longer i would buy it..the pricè actually made me not be confident about the life span once again..anyway thanks A-audio ...Ah another suggestion...could u work on a similar machine with a 40 giga hard disk..i think that would be the shit...no more scratch cd s and stuff..and no more cds actually...
