My last question was about the best way to carry cd's.

It appears that most dj's prefer the vinyl sleeves.

Here's the next question: What is the best designed case to carry cd's? Should the case be square, rectangular, removable top, manufacturer, cost, carpeted...why?

how many rows should it have? why?

should the rows be fixed, adjustable? why?

should the case be carpeted on the inside/outside? why?

What features makes the best cd carry case and why?

where should I buy it from? what internet site sells the best cases for the least?

What do you think of this case at planet dj?

I need to buy something to hold my cd's and will use your opinions in my search/purchase.

Thanks

univenture has packages including their awesome sleves and a hard case. but i'm not sure about the quality of that case.
it all depends on how many cds you want to hold. you can get some small cases like the size of a toolbox or some as big as a suitcase. you have to decide what is most economical and easiest to carry for you.

Here's my stand (a keyboard stand) and CD case.

I just wish the company had not quit making cases.

My case looks alot like DJBusyB's. Holds a lot more than most cd cases and cost alot less than most. I think I paid 50 bucks for it. Got it at Mars music. Its a music store chain, they have their own line of cases that are real reasonable. If you have one in your area, go check it out, but you better hurry cause they are going out of business. (but that means the prices are getting even cheaper!) Smiler
