What types of different things do you do to give away centerpieces on the tables at weddings?

By the way,I think most people know about taping the penny on the bottom of the chair and choosing that person or accross from them.

alright, this game works best with round tables!have one person at each table take out a 1 dollar bill. then explain the rules of the game which is:
you will pass that one dollar bill around the table when the music starts. when the music stops, the person holding the bill must slide back from the table a bit handing the bill to the person beside them. they are now out! when the music starts up again the process will be repeated until there is a single person left. they will then recieve the dollar bill and the centerpeice!

I do something similar to Mike's ideal. We pass aound a salt shaker, spoon or dollar. Depending on whats available. They pass around until the music stops. Then I add twists.
-have the person stand up, and have them dance around the table when the music starts back up.
-Have them pass around in the other direction
-Congradulate them as they are now the deisgnated bartender for their table the rest of the evening. Then start passing again.
-If I use a dollar I congradulate the person who has it at the end because they just WON A.....DOLLAR. And then say that the person who gave the dollar just bought the centerpeice.
