ok well i tried freezing it in the freezer for a couple hour and nothing happened (YES!) so now i have it sitting in the trunk of my car so if it fine after this then i can use it all winter 8) i thought it might not freeze because it has glycol but i wasnt completely sure but i love the mini fog machine it will be awesome with the system im setting up...the main reason i want the denser fog is to see it roll down the front of my subs and fill the bottom of the trunk instead of just filling it but either way will be awesome!!!!

The fog juice shouldn't freeze. Your fog machine will heat to get the fog reaction with the liquid. I keep my supplies in the garage and it never freezes out there. Of course it doesn't get below 32 degrees very often for very long here in San Diego, but it does get cold. Wink

I know this was posted a few months ago, but I just registered! I've never had fog juice freeze. I live in Wisconsin and when it's -10, it's still not frozen or even gelled.

Maybe another question should be does the fog juice chemically break down over time? What is its shelf life? Is it affected by extreme heat and cool?

Really, extreme heat is used to create the fog in the first place, so in that case, we don't care about that one. Once that happens, it's used, too late, it's done it's job.

I'm referring more to storage. I have plenty of fog juice, but the only time my fog machines get used is when I loan them out to a brother in law for one of his friend's parties. Other than that my foggers stay in the boxes.

But, at the same time, fog juice is so cheap, that if it went bad on me, I'd dispose of it and buy some more. I have like 2 gallons. That is going to last me a good long time at this rate. I store it in my garage, and here in Sacramento, we don't have extreme weather. Occasionally it gets below freezing, but barely and rarely. In the summer, we may have 15-25 +100 days, and sometimes(as often as dipping below freezing) 110+ days(got a 120 2 times). And this winter was really mild and last summer didn't have as many scorcher days. I wonder how fog juice contributes to global warming?
