scrible,

Since it's American Audio's forum, we really can't comment on other manufacturer's equipment.

Now that that's out of the way, what you need as far as a setup depends on what kind of events you are going to do. Small halls, small groups of people you could get away with a small system. Move up to larger venues (school dances, etc), and you'll need more than just two speakers. Subwoofers would be a needed addition.
Make sure you have a rack to hold your amp and related gear.

For a CD player and mixer, there are many to choose from. Mostly it depends on how much money you want/have to spend. If money is tight, American Audio has some inexpensive units, such as the DCD-210 and CDI-300.
But, I suggest trying out any decks hands-on before you buy them. Find one that works for you.

Also, I could not find any info about JBEL TRV-120. Is that model number correct?

That amplifier is a little underpowered for those speakers. At 8 ohms, it only puts out about 175 watts per channel.
You want an amplifier with power equal or above your speakers. For example, your speakers handle 225 watts @ 8 ohm. You would want an amplifier that is at LEAST 225 watts per channel at 8 ohm. A little higher, like 230-240 watts would be better. Just don't run the amp at full power.

Skrible,

It is against our policy to list other brands of equipment on this forum. Please stop mentioning the brands you own, simply say your speakers or your CD player. I do not wanna see you have a thread locked or deleted. I am no longer a moderator on this section of the board but if you persist I will direct one of the current mods to shut this thread down. BTW welcome to the site, hope you enjoy your self here and please follow the forums rules.
