The size of your sound equipment always depends on he size of the room you will be djing in and the amount of people you will be entertaining.
Subs are a great thing to have but it also depends on your budget.
To run the subs you would need a seperate amplifier and a crossover.
What is your budget like?

a very good speaker to buy? the ones i have now are very punchy and loud, but you can,t buy them in shops they are very rare.

I would add a sub, if your playing for 500+ people you will want added bass. You'll need:
-a sub - probably 18inch, a couple hundred watts
-An amp, enough to power 2 subs(so you can expand in the future if one sub isn't enough)
-and a crossover, don't cheap out too much on this.

or you can always go with a powered sub, then you don't need an amp, and depending on the powered sub you might not need a crossover either. hope this helps

well technically no, this forum is run by American DJ...therefore naming off their competitors is not allowed.
HOWEVER...
I think that since ADJ does not have a sub released it should be allowed... Wink
Give me an email here:
roc4god@verizon.net
I can give you some names and sites to look at
