MadMickey, American Audio unfortuantely do not make an official sub-woofer speaker. We also cannot comment on any other manufactureres products on this forum other than American Audio/DJ products.
I will say that the American Audio V5000 amplifiers a built in sub active crossover and it is a rock solid performer. ROQ out |

note: size doesnt really matter, it all depends on what u need the sub for... |

You guys can feel free to talk about "suggest" subs in a round about way. Since American Audio doesn't make any subs...YET! There are many good subs out there.
Some questions to help us help you better. Are you looking for active or passive? What is your current setup (remember you can't mention brands)? How big are the venues you will use these in? How many people do you play for? What types of events? |

I am mainly involved in complex lighting systems. However, lately i've been asked to do some sound setups as well. Fairly small scale sound setups. Basically i'm looking for a cheap way to get a boomin bass. I want whatever will give me the most bang for the buck. Current audio system is running around 400 watts rms/channel

Wharfdale makes a pretty good 18" front loaded sub. It should make a pretty good compliment to your current tops. They are fairly inexpensive too.
