Hey guy the new my dmx software is now avaialble for download. many bug fixes have been made so less crashes if anyone was having that problem before. midi triggering now works perfectly for basic triggering. and there is an updated driver which will overwrite the last one and will not allow the dongle to recognize older versions of the software.

curious as to why denying older versions would be an issue? does this change anything to the dongle itself? Or is it software on the pc only?

no there are no changes to the dongle itself. It merely means a newer better more stable in my opinion driver for the software. Nothing to worry about in this new software update. Sincerely,

Does this mean that American DJ's website has the latest version to download?

I have a problem using the MYDMX version that is available as a download on the American DJ website. My first problem is that it will not allow me to create new files by not patching the information to the grid. It also won't allow me to open a saved .dlm file.

it wont allow you to open a saved show file? what does it say when you try? also if you can post up a screen shot that would be helpful. if you are using windows vista in the start menu under accessories look for snipping tool.

Well I uninstalled and re-installed & re-booted once (problem still there). I uninstalled and re-installed & re-booted a second time and the problems disappeared. Who knows?
