just got new laptop with vista... yuck... any way been reading the posts about the 64 bit driver.. here is the thing got it to work but when i hook up into usb mode my number 1 fixture sets to strobe i close my dmx and it works fine. any suggestions

Are you sure there is no dmx value on for strobe on that fixture? Like a playing scene or anything? Can you post a pic of your screen when this happens?

it will not let me apply my fixtures. when i connect in usb mode the light got the ready position and the 1st fixture strobes without being in use on a scene

just for the record, it works just fine on my old laptop.

What are the specs of your old laptop? And we are currently working in a fix for the 64 but driver issue. I'm hoping to find out more tomm

it tells me that this app has failed to start because D110em.dll was not found. reinstalling the app may fix the prob. and it didnt

and you have a 64 bit vista correct? Which one? home premium? etc? so you too the files out of the .Zip folder and moved them into the my dmx folder? Also i think reinstalling may undo the imported files.

here's one for ya so i restarted my pc and of course nothing plugged in the dongle and started up in demo mode closed out of my dmx and unplugged dongle and it started in demo mode

now it says the INF file you selected does not support this method of installation

You'd be the first one to get a 64 bit version of this software up and running by Saturday. Tomm. We can go on crossloop.

noone else is running mydmx with vista 64 bit driver?

well, no luck here geting mydmx to work with vista 64. hopefully i can get this worked out by the 4th of july. got a big block party to dj and they really loved the light show with the fireworks if any one has any other ideas let me know.

ps thanks jingles for all your help the other night trying to get it up and running.
