You would need to reverse the pan and tilt on the units themselves. I don't believe my dmx will do it for you.

Do it in the FX generator. Make a 2 point line and pull the endpoints in the "pan" (or tilt-or both) direction and bring the phase to 50%. The phase will make the 2nd mover be exactly opposite. Won't work with anything other than a straight line. Is that what you are trying to do....?

I am truly surprised that such a simple scene as 2 scans running a circle in opposite direction, is not possible on mydmx !?

I mean, when I use the FX Gen for the first scan, I create the circle and set the direction. Ok, fine.
Then I generate the scene, by choosing the max number of steps I get 100 steps (andnot 10 as specified by the soft).
I believe 100 steps is good to get a smooth circle, and not that 8 dots geometrics...

So go ahead and manually set the second scan to move in opposite direction for the 100 steps...

Good luck on that !

You talking about one going clockwise and the other going counter clock?

Let me see if you want to do what I did:

I what I wanted was two circles going in not only opposite directions(one circling one clockwise, the other circling counter clockwise), but then sort of instead being in sync, they would be out of sync?

Adjust your phasing. The FX generator took care of all this for me. I had a question for Jingles about this that started with limiting the X and Y to limit where the circles were going to be "drawn", and that in turn led to further discussion. In the end, I got exactly what I wanted out of MyDMX.

Easy stuff.

I made my circles have 20 points, but MyDMX only generated 6 steps. WTF? Well, it works, looks good, but I am restricting my circles to a relatively small area. I suppose if I were to make BIG circles, I'd definately not be happy with 20 points.

Hi Chris

Ok, what I did was indeed limit the clockwise scan to 10 steps, and modified manually the pan values for the counterclockwise scan.

Actually, is there anyway to copy/paste one fixture's value to another ?
I mean, without modifying all fixtures (like with the MAJ key).
