Will My DMX run on Windows 2K? I have loaded it on the machine, but when I have several fixtures set up, the CPU maxes out and the app freezes when going to the user tab. Machine is a P4 1.8GHz, 384M RAM. Same show runs fine on an XP machine, 2.4GHz 1G RAM.

Well whatever the minimum requirements say for the software you should try that. I don't believe win 2K is compatible. Which could be why it is locking up on you.

I have a laptop running Win2K, and MyDMX does NOT like it.

Great OS, but unfortunately, it's not supported, and as such, developers are now largely avoiding it.

The box does say "XP and Vista", so I'd take that as a heavy hint right there.
