It may be possible that "100% functionality' may not by fully supported by a profile via the icon-based stuff. Still, you can still have the light 100% functional via profile.

Remember that profiles aren't necessary to use MyDMX, it's just so we can relate to the fixtures better.

Having said that, it's entirely possible to have a profile made. Why not start conversation with Jingles. He may ask you to send the profile you made along with the information on the fixture. He may be able to help you out. Even better, if he can direct you to seeing where you made mistakes so you can learn from it.

Is there no online location that has the manual for this fixture?

Sorry. I'm lucky. I have flatbed scanners all over the place and can capture just about anything and turn it into a PDF. I know not everyone has that luxury.

What you could do is have your friend scan it at high resolution. While the JPG file may end up being massive, it could be zoomed in for details, or at least SHOULD print out really nice for better examination.

Ideally, most printers can do 600dpi no problem these days, even my HP 5550 C can do 1200dpi(my disc printer DOES do 1200dpi).

Converting those JPG files to a PDF will mainly serve the purpose of possibly rebuilding the manual, or as a minimum, reduce the file size of your scans since the PDF format is highly compressed(wherever possible) format.

If you can read whatever you have now, then it can be scanned and then sent off.

Obviously, if it's something that doesn't have a manual online, it's either old, crap, or old crap, or a crappy company, or an old crappy company. Most of the stuff ADJ sells does come from China(yes, I read the labels and my new 64 LED Pros all have stamped on them "made in china"), as do the products from many other lighting companies. It's so cheap to run a web site, especially a simple one, that any company that refuses to support their products with an online presence is one I would avoid.

Seriously.

I'm to the point where I don't even deal with MySpace sites. Come on, spend some money, show you give a damn. But no, it's this whole "market the internet to retards and lo and behold, they came" thing. Sorry, gots no use for MySpace. I got a real domain.

thank you everyone for your help i finally send them to jingles.well let me tell you that they do have a web site and also they have manuals on line but like other conpanies they dont have one for every single fixture. i do agree with you that some companies make crappy fixtures, i been djing for 7 years since i was 19 im 26yo and let me tell you that i buy a lot of thing from a lot of companies and the thigs that i like american dj has, however not all that ADJ carries attrack my attention this is why i have to look for other companies that make different fixtures(LASERS). i just got some violet laser and soon i will have the full color ones. by the way i did used your tip on the scaning thing, thank you
