I was just wondering if there is a way to use my laptop's internal mic to trigger my sequences?

Thanks

Well, do you think that in any of the future updates that we will be able to use internal mics to trigger the program?

Thanks

Well, based on how MyDMX operates, you could take a mic, put it through a mixer and then insert a gate and then take the gate out into a drum brain to trigger the brain to issue a MIDI signal. You could then use that to use a MIDI trigger for MyDMX.

This wouldn't work as you'd ideally want it to. But it's an idea.

Here's one for you, Chris. Can I use a generic midi foot controller and how would it be implemented. I've been triggering scene changes in my Elation controller via a Behringer FCB1010. I run sound/lights/bass from stage. Ran out of channels real quick when we started adding DMX Fixtures.

Missed this one by you TroubleMaker.

I'm not familiar with the Behringer FCB1010, so I won't bother to comment on that.

I don't see why a foot controller that issues MIDI note on instructions can't work for scene triggering.
