I am trying to go to DMX software so I can do lights for live shows better but I am also a DJ and needed the software to be sound active. I was dissapointed when I found out MyDMX did not have that ability. Can anyone help me find some software that has this feature? I also have a very tight budget so I am looking for something with a price around MyDMX's.
Also, another more cost effective alternative is to learn how to do live shows with a controller. I have the Elation DMX Operator which is pretty solid for DJing but I have no knowledge on how to approach controlling a live show with it. I hear people do it and do not need software. It would be great if anybody can help me with this. Thanks.

Program a chase and then play it back using the tap/synch feature to lock it into the BPM of the track playing. This is one way.
