Chauvet COLORsplash JR./LED-PAR83 fixtures residing at address one greater than the dip settings. I have them set to channel 16 (dip 5 on [& 10 on for DMX mode]) and they respond starting at channel 17.

Anyone have this happen with these units? ... With others?

Are you sayng they respond at one channel plus what they are supposed to be? say 5 rather than 4?

Exactly, off by +1.

F.I. For Channel 16 we want the switch for the value 16 to be on which is dip 5.

I have to set the fixture at address 17 in MyDMX. It's as if I had set dip 5 (value 16) plus dip 1 (value 1) which yields an address of channel 17.

Both units are set the same, to start at address/channel 16 and both respond starting on 17!

Weird, Huh?

When I first got MyDmx, I first started witht he colorplash Jrs, setting the dip switches to reflect the progession and I would not get nothing from MyDmx, but not changing the dip switches, I dropped the profile on #2 and went from there and everything works fine. I don't know if the default profile that comes with the program is wrong, but it should work by strating with #1. So yes, it's off by 1.

I found this out the hard way. The Splash Jr's now require 5 channels not 4.

from what I recall it does nothing ...it is a future...I don't have my gear handy, but I believe channels 2 through 5 are your active channels. channel 1 is the "future channel".
