Having trouble importing my DMX 1 .dlm file to my DMX 2. Tried renaming my ssl files to .ssl2 and imported them. Can I email you my dlm? thx!

hi, simply renaming the .ssl to .ssl2 doesn't do anything except cause you headaches. 
You should be able to open them in the Scan library editor on Windows in the MyDMX1 folder on the C drive and do save as .ssl2

should i use the scan library editor in My DMX2 to open the files from the MY DMX 1 library?
i did rename them in the MY DMX scan library as ssl2 then i imported them My DMX2 but no joy 
Fuse, you cannot simply rename them, once you do so, they get corrupt, so please do not do that. I hope you didn't lose any profiles that you needed or made because of this.
Which release date of MyDMX 2.0 are you using? The new scan library editor for Mac and Windows doesn't open .ssl profiles, it only opens .ssl2
