This is my first usage of the forum and I apologize if this isan old issue. I am just beginning to use the software and have a question about using the led par 64's in the ADJ fixture library. I have tried all of them and there is only 1 (the led par 64 7 channel) that works with the strobing slider and the 3D view. The issue is that all of the led par 64's @ ADJ seem to be only 6 channels. Which one do I use to simulate the right function so that live it will do the same. Thanks for your input.I am sure this won't be my only question but will try to look for past entries.

There are two LED Par 64 fixtures from ADJ.

There is the 64 LED Pro, which I have 8 of. These are up to 7 channel units.

The 64 LED is a 3 channel unit, I think. Maybe a 4. It doesn't have a master dimmer channel.

It is possible you've chosen the wrong profile or the correct profile does not exist. Please be aware that you do NOT need a profile installed/associated with channels in order to use the fixture. Profiles just make these things more "Human friendly".

I would suggest looking for the correct profile IF it exists, put in a request to have one made, or else make your own. I'm working just fine with the 64 LED Pro 7 channel profile, does what I need just fine.

Sorry you're having problems. Do a tiny bit more poking around. It just may turn out you need more help.

Thanks Chris for the quick response. I will play around some more. I have our 1st band show using the software coming up in June and I am just a little impatient. I don't actually have the led 64's yet but was trying to get a jump on programming and learning the software. Once I have them in my hands I can tell more about how they respond to or emulate the profiles.

rick look for the par 64 LED PAR 64.ssl in the library. Should be a 6 channel profile.
