It's probably simple but I cant find the answer!
How can I move two or more faders together and at the same values?

Cheers,
AndyH

click on the fader, then hold shift then as you hold shift with your mouse still clicked on the fader it will move all like faders. You can even hold shift click on any number of faders and group them together. Make sense? Let me know.

It works but takes some practice. I use this a lot when making like-type changes(say, adjusting the dimmer on 8 64 LED Pros). For color selection, I have better options.

my suggestion: Make a junk scene, then practice in there. Prevents you from hosing up a good scene. I arrange MyDMX with my first scene being a blackout, scene 2 being my work/junk scene. Scene 3 is a quick access scene that can change depending on the show.

Hi James, Hi Chris,
Thanks for your responses.
I have found that it is very simple with a mouse but very fiddly using the touchpad (on a laptop).

Thanks Again,
AndyH

I agree. I hate using a touchpad, it just lacks the precision I need and slows me down and when it's showtime, time is NOT on your side.

To each their own. I know people who rock with touchpads. I'm clearly not in that category.

I bring my Microsoft Optical mouse. I don't trust wireless keyboards and mice, had too many issues with batteries crapping out on me. Plus, my current(and now ex) crew was going through 6 months worth of batteries in a show, mainly to feed the digital camera! They went through 4 sets of batteries(16 batteries) in 1 show taking pictures, 99% of which were in the category of "stuff I don't want to waste space on photos of".

Dell is advertising this new wireless USB dongle that lets you connect up to 6 peripherals. It's not a Dell unit, I think it's Logitech. Regardless, the nice thing about this is, going with your suggestion of a small wireless mouse, the dongle is super small and won't protrude much from the USB port so you can just leave it in, which means one less part to lose.

I got my optical mouse and a back-up USB mouse. I'm good to go in all situations!

Once cool thing about MyDMX is it should be touch screen compatible. I'd like to run it on a tablet PC. Maybe someday soon they'll incorporate touch screen technology into most laptops. That would be super cool. Allen & Heath has their iLive consoles with built in support for a specific brand of touch screen as well.
