I have ordered MyDMX and in the meantime I have downloaded the MyDMX software to play around with in demo mode. I have 2 Revo 3's and a Quad Gem but when I look at the animations in MyDMX they just seem like wide beam Par's with no animation at all. Am I doing something wrong or am I expecting too much from the software?

As of right now the softwares 3d software does not support that type of 3d rendering. It would take a very long time to find a way to be able to animate all those dots. So there is nothing wrong with the software. It just doesn't do that type of rendering. Maybe one day but not right now.

The 3d visualizer is a big help, but it's not 100% as jingles mentioned. I've got a starball led in some of my shows that just puts out a medium wash light. but I know what the effect is. As for rotation effects, I had to adjust those once I had the light connected and could see how it looked. No biggie though.
