My 2nd Galaxian laser died this weekend - the first one lasted about 12 gigs - this one died after about 10 minutes. Plugged straight in to the wall outlet - no DMX - just running in stand alone mode. Both units blew the fuse at the power inlet and did not respond when I changed the blown fuse. I love this effect, but the reliability is very questionable at the least! Anybody else having issues with these?

This sounds strange to say the least. When both units died, were they plugged into the same power source/or socket strip? I am curious if they are being fed some power surges, or if there is faulty wiring involved. Do you use an extension cord, power conditioner, dim pack, or socket strip? When each unit blew, could it have been plugged into the same outlet (that the first one was plugged into when it failed)?

They died in different venues. Plugged into a surge-protected, grounded high quality strip that has 2 Chauvet Color Palletes and an ADJ White Pearl plugged in also and they have been great - no issues. My dealer replaced the 2nd bad Galaxian this AM and told me ADJ was quick to accept the returns and did not charge him for shipping - which is unusual. He suspects there is a bad run of these and told me not to be surprised if this 3rd unit fails also!
