OK, I'm feeling like a moron, BUT, before I possibly do something I shouldn't, let me ask.

I'm looking to get a T4, so my questions about that are "Hey, can I run my Sunray III, Mystic, Vertigo and one other to be determined fixture off that?" Reason being, I would switch between the 4 to ensure proper on/off cycles and give me a few less things to worry about.

Now my question kicks in. I downloaded the T4 manual and it shows the back plate being removed and flipped around so as to not have to use a clamp to mount this to a stand or truss. I'm like "uh, that's COOL! and would save set-up time".

So, now my question:
I have 3 DP-DMX20L's, 2 PP-DMX20L's and an Aviator SP-8 currently. None of the manuals for these devices say I can or should do this, yet the bracket at the top indicates that I could. Is it safe to do this?

T4 is still an option regardless. Need another large-ish fixture preferable under 5 amps. I'm going to order the new catalog and hopefully the preview DVD is free or cheap because that helps a lot to show my wife before I splurge on the lights.

Thanks! I'll be on the phone all day long as usual.

Cool. I'm off to get a screw driver and "mod" away then. This is gonna save me essential time during set-up and tear down, heck even transport space!!

I'm about ready to order a buttload of the 1/5" O-clamps for my Crank-1 truss so i can leave the clamps on the fixtures. Busy year this year and my ADJ gear has helped!
