Cool, congrats on your purchase and hope it brings you years of great service. And by all means, take jingles up on his offer.

I will tell you this though. Don't EVER plug a USB light into the unit the wrong way it will FRY out the whole board. i made that mistake once. and thats why i say i USED to own one haha. It was a rookie mistake back when i was just starting out. i lost ALL my programming and i had almost damn near the whole boards memory full.

Umm, what is a usb light? Is that one of the lights that lights up the board like on my mixer?
Jingles? Is there a specific case for the 192?
Is it rack mountable? It doesn't look like it.

There isn't a specific case for the DMX Operator 192. It is rack mountable though, you just have to pull off the sides. On the picture on the website, you can actually see the holes for where the screws go. And check here for what a USB light is. Click on the second picture and it will be shown. Basically, it is an LED light that gets its power off of a USB port.

Get rid of your chauvets, and replace them with adj lights. Im in no way kissing butt, bit the fact is, chauvets are way too dim. If you dont have much to spend, then get some used adj lights with some sort of mic on them. If you are like me, then using a dmx and doing whatever it is you do at the same time just breaks your concentration too much. Maybe a light pad with a chase and turn the light on znd off as you se fit. I for one have too many things on my mind while I play ( leaning serato and i get very fraustrted ). I myself would like to know how to use a dmx controller, but I can't even get my serato to work properly. anyhow, I hope this was atleast somewhat entertaining to say the least, and good luck with whatever you choose to go with.

Hey Los, I agree with you, the Chauvets have been a pain! I finally got them working and now they are staying until I can get something better, but I do like them for what I am doing (for now). The 192 kicks butt! I used it this weekend and it was awesome.
