Hi there! I have an old "Arc Beam 150" and can't find the manual. NE1 have it or can at least tell me the options for the DIP switchs?

It has 10 dip switches and only the first 5 are identified as unit address.

Thanks all!

Are you trying to set the DMX address? If so this unit can only go up to 31 which doesn't make much sense. I'd re-check the markings to make sure it is using the dmx protocol and which dip-switches do what.

Typically the first 9 are DMX address and the last one is dmx/sound active modes.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply Homeboy.

I am not really trying to set a DMX address. I am trying to figure out what the DIP switches do exactly as I have seen another unit very similar to this one by another maufacturer. On that unit there is a setting to make the beam open, white, and non moving. This is so that I can adjust the power output (lamp position) and properly focus the beam.

There is only a blue sticker explaining the DMX address setting using the first 5 switches. The other 5 are a crap shoot. LOL

I too have a pair of the Arc Beam 150. But yet I tried searching for information on the internet and can not find anything. I am wondering if the addressing is for DMX or just to link up the lights together.

Damn that was cool!

I was wondering would it be possible to replace the arc lamp with led type lamps. The reason I am asking that is because I want to bring the power consumption of these lights down.

Damn that was cool!

oh i wouldn't recommend that. most likely the lamp ballast will send too much power and blow the LED every time, that is also considering you can find a LED lamp with the type of connectors needed to fit in the socket. this is just my opinion and thoughts but highly not recommended.
Sincerely,
