I'm using mine in 7 ch.DMX mode.
Can anyone tell me what DMX function is assigned to each one of my sliders on my DMX controller (DMX Operator 512)? In my other fixture (Mega Bar led) it says right in the owners manual what function but not in the manual for the quad gem. thanks! |

It should say in the manual. I'll double check as soon as I can.

The sliders are associated with channels, and the channels then directly correspond to DMX values associated to whatever fixture(s) channel(s) are assigned to that fader.
I can't find a DMX Operator 512. Might you mean the DMX Operator, which only handles 192 channels? If so, the Scanner button indicates which bank of channels the faders work with. Basically ScanenrButton# multiplied 16(then minus 16) plus the fader = DMX channel. Check your manuals to learn what DMX channels a unit uses(or rather how many) and how to set the starting channel and you are done. -- Chris Pickett, Studio42 916-601-7089 http://www.studio42.com Anti Spam Advocate: http://www.studio42.org |

The first slider changes the mode. Single pattern, chase, or sound active. Then each slider after that controls the pattern or chase for each of the 4 lenses. The 6th slider is strobe speed or chase speed and the 7th slider is the dimmer for the whole thing.
