Maybe you shouldn't just ask "which is better?" Ask why people think one is better than the other. Then you can make a decision, based upon your needs.

I've got the Reflex, and I think it's great. Really throws color around the room, three different modes. Compliments my Vertigo well, I think.
Check the www.americandj.com website for videos of them. |

I couldn't choose. I have both the reflex and the barrel flex. I also have a Reflex and a Rover II. I put the Electra and Barrel Flex on one side of the truss, and the Rover II and Reflext on the other side. I can turn on the Rover/Barrel Flex or Electra/Reflex combo, but typically I turn all 4 on at once since they are such low draw and throw tons of little lights all over. My audience seems to like it when I do that, and will like it that much more when I add fog into the mix. I like the upwards throw of the Barrel Flex and Rover II, just helps get more action happening. I really like these lights since the throw light everywhere. I make sure they are all aimed to not overlap too much.
