...but it's broke.

The light powers on and functions correctly, but something is loose inside. The lens for the multicolor moon flower is loose, and a small metal clip of some kind fell out of the housing. There was no damage to the shipping boxes.

Not sure if I should open it up and see if it's fixable, or send it back for another.

Contact support and see what they advise. They may feel comfortable having you crack that sucker open and poking around inside.

Give them a call in the morning for them.

I think the bar is very important, because right now it sounds like your light is

FUBAR!

I see....I called today and they said I could openit up and take a peak. but my tools are in my trailer. So I'll have to do it tomorrow.

The lens for the multi color is loose, and a clip fell out of the light. so it may be a simple fix.

I prefer to repair things on my own as it tends to save time and often money, but these days, with warranty stuff, sometimes you don't get a choice.

Fortunately ADJ is one of the more reasonable companies. In fact, some of their YouTube videos show how to dismantle and re-assemble some of their fixtures. I think they want to show off the fixture as well as make them somewhat servicable within reason.

opened up the Fusion FX2 BAR today, 1 clip that holds the lens is all that I could find. I glued the clip onto the light, and it seems to be fine now. I may have to repair it again if it comes loose.
