Well, let me confess that I am not a DJ - I'm an independent filmmaker. "Independent" meaning that I have to pay for everything myself, until one of the Weinstein brothers at Miramax decides to snap up some of my work and make me rich and famous.
Like all other indies, I'm always on the lookout for affordable equipment (everything is sooo expensive), and in terms of lighting, some of it seems to be right here at American DJ, specifically the PAR cans. They look like pretty good fixtures and can be had with some useful accessories, like gel holders, etc.
Of some importance to filming, is the color temperature of the PAR lamps themselves, but I can't find any info here, so I thought I would ask you owners of these can PARs. Any ideas?

We sell GE lamps and Lamp Lite. The GE's are 3200, the Lamplites are Supposed to be the same, I would guess they are more like 3000, just a tad more yellow than the GE's

Thanks Dawg, Of course, 3200K is the magic number for film work. Well, at least for interiors. I'll spread the word on the Indie film forums, if you promise not to jack the prices up!
