How do I keep my lights from going into stand alone mode when I power down my controllers? Hopefully a simple answer, but it drives me crazy at the end of the night before I can climb up the truss to turn off my lights, they are going crazy with preprogrammed scenes, etc. Thanks guys!!

It is normally a setting with in the menu of the fixture. Look at your manual to see how you can turn it off. Should have options for something like Hold Last DMX Command. This means whatever the last command to the lights was before you power down your controller was, that's what they will do.

also you should be able to depending on which fixtures you have to turn the lamp off from the console. That way if the lamps are off they are just moving around and there will be no light output.
