I just purchased two Chauvet Colorstrip units that are DMX512 units. I'm trying to figure out what DMX address to give it so that my stage setter 8 board will control it. What is the DMX channels that the stage setter 8 uses?

Well too have up too 16 channels and I believe the strips are 4 channels each so first strip addressed to 1 and the second to 5. Are you new to dmx and lighting?

Sorry, I'm just of the "make an effort" group.

People, please read your manuals. In fact, take it a step further: I download all my manuals as PDF's whenever possible and have them with me at shows on the computer, a CD or DVD and a USB memory stick. Never know when I need to reference something. I rarely do but it's nice to have it handy and easier than carrying around paper manuals and binders of manuals.
