SO, in a recent post, we discussed foot controllers and the benefits of getting a normal controller and adding a MIDI foot controller to run the scenes. So... I've decoded on this course of action.

Now... what controller is better? I'm assuming the more money, the better. But, what is better at setting scenes up and selecting them with a MIDI controller.

When they say "MIDI controlled," does it mean what I need it to do? Or, are there limitations?

Is the 192 worth the extra $30 over the normal controller?

Help... thank you!!!

Lizard,

It depends on what you are wanting to control. Do you have all intelligent lights or conventional ("Traditional") PAR's; or a mix of both? I have the Operator PRO and can tell you that this controller is good for a mix of both. If you have all intelligent lights, then I would recommend the Operator 192. Hope this helps.
