I just purchased the Dynasty Scan DMX System which includes
• 4 x Dynasty Scan
• 1 x DMX Partner Controller
• 4 x MC-10 XLR Cables
i was not able to get it to work the way it's
suppose to. i hooked up all 4 dynasty scans daisy chain style along with the partner but had no results do i need a different dmx control for the job?

Djren,

1) Make sure the Dmx Partner is programmed for the Dynasty Scans.

2) The Dynasty Scans will not respond to dmx when the sound active mode is enabled. Look for Audio in the menu and make sure it's set to no.

3) The fixture addressing should be in this order, 13 - 1 - 7 - 19.

how do i know or program the partner I tried the Manuel but had no success still

do i need another dmx control to use the dynasty because the reason i got the system was because it was all included as a package but if i can get it to work theres no point or use for it. is there any way you can assist me before i return it thanks.

the dmx partner was made for playback and the ability to override the pan and tilt and a few other features. The partner is ideal to use inconjunction with another dmx controller such as a dmx operator. Give our tech support team a call and they can explain it better than I can. Sincerely,

I love my Dynasty Scan system...once I got it addressed (like Sergio indicates) it works flawlessly every time! Many compliments from planners and guests.

Still trying to figure out everything that can be done with the controller, so I'm afraid I can't be much help there...but once they are addressed, THEY ROCK!
