I have 4 new XP3's and I need suggestions on how to mount them upside down on am ADJ 10 Ft Square Truss. Also - are they cool running master and slave or should I learn to program them. I have a Carvin LC24 lighting contoller. Any help/suggestions/info would be a big help as I am new to this kind of gig.

I suggest letting them run on their internal progs in master/slave mode. Thats the easiest of course. Its nice to learn how to program a show though.

I am pretty sure you can control blackout with the controller while having the units on their internal programs. DOnt quote me though

No can do . . . when you plug the XP3's into the controller the slaves will accept signals from the controller and the master, making for a wierd looking show. Roll Eyes

The only way you can run them off their internal programs and turn them on and off from the controller, is to plug them into a relay pack (NOT dimmer pack). However, each time you turn them on, they will reset. If you MUST run them off thier internal programs, I suggest you plug them into the wall or leave them constantly on a relay pack, and control them with the Mini C blackout controller. Smiler
