i am new to dmx, trying to hook up basics. I have suscefully hooked a 4 channel dimmer/switch pack to my controller, but when I hook up the FAB 4, I get nothing. I am using pin 1 in the on position, and on the FAB 4 I had to turn 10 on also, just to get the little green dmx light to blink. When I switch the cable back to my dimmer pack, it works. The FAB 4 will not work as stand alone chase with 9 & 10 on either. Bulb is good, just checked it in one of the slave lights.

hey music and welcome! are you hooking the Fab 4 up to a dimmer/relay pack? cause you don't need too. it should work with either a DMX controller or as standalone? answer this question first then i can help you out some more! peace! sincerely,
