I'm not into dj or lighting. I play in a band and wanted some lights and ended up buying the revo 1. Eventhough i don't really like what it does right out of the box I'd rather try to use it than return it. I was wondering if a controller would allow me to do something like flash just the red LEDs and slooooooowly fade them to an orange color (like over 1-2 min) and then slowly fade into a blue and then back again.
The unit is a revo 1. If this can be done, which controller would be best and simplest to use?
Thanks

Badslug welcome to the forums. on the revo series you cannot colormix so you cant fade the RGB leds but they mix when two colors are on at the same time. Take a look at the product video, that will give you an idea of the functions of the light. as far as controllers i recommend probably a DMX operator 192 or perhaps my dmx. Let me know if you have anymore questions. Thanks. Sincerely,

Nope. you can really only select between patterns and chases. so try to find a pattern or a cahse that uses the colors you like and then set the speed. or set your speed to zero and find a chase or pattern that starts out with the colors you want and just program in those in scenes and have those scenes play back at a certain speed. understand? Let me know. Sincerely,
