Hello, I've come across 4 used performance scans and I'm contemplating on picking them up. I'd say they're a few hundred each and I noticed that many people do indeed like them. However, I do also understand that they're discontinued.

I plan on using them more for "show" lighting rather than club lighting - ie bands and stuff. I noticed they're only like 6 channels with no pan and tilt fine adjustments. So, I'm curious as to how smooth the motions are and what not. Like how would it compare to the legendary trackspots?

For control, I've got a dmx operator pro, and I've recently started using the Chamsys MagicQ PC software.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Clint

I have 2 Performance Scans in my arsenal. In terms of production, they are very decent lights for simple production. While they do not have pan/tilt fine channels, the motors still are very fine movement. Colors are clear and so are gobos. I recommended these lights for sure.
