example :
the strobe is from values 7 to 251, and the reset is the value 30

My question is: If I do a fade from 7 to 251, will I have a blank frame when it will come across 30 ?

Thank you

I'm looking at the traits for the ScanTron 250, and I don't see a fixture reset listed among any of the channel assignments.

On channel 5, values 7-251 are for adjusting the flash rate for the strobe, but nothing is noted about a reset...

By the term 'reset' do you mean fixture reset or strobe reset?

It's a fixture reset
I tested it and it invoke the startup initialization.... not good in live

I posted a picture of my user manual (because I think the PDF on the website is out of date, because I programmed my lights before receiving them, and when I plugged it all, they were not behaving the way it was described in the PDF.

Well, hmm.

That is a really bad place for a fixture reset. I don't get it.

Fading up on that channel trough value 30 will likely cause it to reset, unless you have to let that value sit for a few seconds to activate.

That's all I can think of. Sorry.

ok, so I must not do a very slow fade so they don't have the time to reset...

I wonder why they done that, and the purpose of this.
anyway.. thank you for the informations
