I just added two Accu Rollers to my setup - my first intelligent DMX lights. They are AWESOME! However, the master/slave audio activated chase runs too fast for me and I want to see more scenes and slow it down (like the Concept C does for its lights). I see that the DMX Solo is sold with the Accu Roller System, presumably with additional Accu Roller programs built in (?). I don't see anywhere where I can buy an Accu Roller specific DMX Solo controller... I don't really want to get into programming my own - just want full diversity with audio activated programs (the built in program doesn't even use all the gobo's). Question is: where can I buy a DMX Solo that has more Accu Roller programs built in **OR** what is the best controller to buy that I can get the BEST from these amazing lights? Thanks !!!

The DMX Solo has been discontinued. However, we've replaced it with two controller/recorders that offer more flexibility. They are the DMX Partner and the DMX Duo. Both of these units are DMX recorders and playback devices. So if you eventually wanted to write your own programs with a universal DMX controller, you would have the capability to upload your programs directly into either of these units via the DMX input and output. The Partner is a small desk top or hand held controller that contains 8 preprogrammed chases and 2 preprogrammed shows that can be triggered automatically, to sound or manually. The Duo does the same in a rack mount type case. As far as the built in programs go, I think its relevant to the individual. What someone thinks is good may be mediocre or bad to someone else. I've personally seen the programs built into the two controllers and I happen to like them so I would recommend either unit. If you want to get into recording your own programs, we sell a controller called the DMX Programmer. It's relatively inexpensive yet very powerful. It's capable of handling up to 8 fixtures each containing up to 8 DMX channels. Memory consists of 96 programmable scenes and 4 programmable chases with 99 steps per chase. In addition, we just released a training DVD for all of these controllers that I've mentioned so getting started should be a snap. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any additional questions.
