We are using 14 P64 LED's controlled by a DMX Operator Pro in our sanctuary. Six of the Pro 64 LED's share the same address. One of our programmed "scenes" has all six of these LED's bright white with a little red to pull out the flesh tones of those on stage. After a while on this setting, one of the Pro 64 LED's, all by itself and with no encouragement from those of us in Tech, will fade to blue.

We,ve verified the dip switch address setting, the DMX cable connections, and the programming and cannot find anything wrong.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can resolve this?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Mike

Definetly weird. how long would you say it is on white before it does this? is the last fixture in the line terminated? also are you using DMX standard cable or mic XLR cable? there is a difference. sincerely,

Can you re-create the problem using one cable directly from the controller to that unit by itself?

Thanks for the quick come back.

The light starts to change color almost immediately when grouped with other lights.
This particular par 64 is 4th from the end of the DMX string and we do have a terminator on the final light.
We are using microphone cables going to and from this light (the rest of the cables are DMX cables but this was a light that was one of four lights inserted in the middle of the string after the original installation and we ran out of DMX cables).

I have not tried doing a dedicated run between the controller and this light but I may try a separate address and see what happens.

Thanks for the feedback,

Mike
