ADJ Spot 250 Blowing Bulbs

My ADJ Spot 250 blow bulbs well before the bulb life time is near. The bulbs are new and I've cleaned the fans and I know they work, but the bulbs still blow after a few (less than 10 hours use).

The filament of the blown bulb appear to be in tact, but there is a lot of blackening around the square silver pads at the end of the one of the legs / prongs.

The bulbs are Osram A1/223 EHJ HLX 64655 24v 250w G6.35.

Any thoughts or suggestions much appreciated.

Hello Chops,
thank you for contacting us. there seems to be some type of short in your lighting system. the fan may spin but it could be going bad. this is something that will have to be checked out by a local technician. please contact adjeurope@americandj.com for information on sending in it for repair in the UK.
