I recently picked up the following:

4 dj scan 250s
ADJ Aviator32
PP-dmx-20l power pack


Am I able to use the aviator to create a few shows for my Dj Scans?

If so, does someone have some directions for me:

The manuals did not have much at all.

How should i configure the lights?
How do I setup the controller pack?
How do I program a show using the aviator?

To be honest, I am not even sure if this is the right device.

Any assistance or guidance would be really appreciated.

ok welcome! the system you just bought is not for intelligent lighting at all. is mainly for pars and other non dmx effects. you need a controller like the dmx operator or magic 260 or even my dmx. i would return it and see what other controllers they have available. do you own any par cans or DJ effects? sincerely,

also you dont need the dpdmx20ls if you dont have par cans or DJ effects.

I do own par cans and other DJ Lighting effects. Can the aviator-32 and the pp-dmx20L work as a simple relay and controller to turn on and off my lights. I tried hooking them up, but the documentation with the aviator is very minimal.

yes that should work for those tips of lights nut DO NOT PLUG IN THE DJ SCANS to the dpdmx20l or the other pack.
