I own 6 Color 150DMX's and I'm looking at getting 8 Color 250D's. The 150's are one channel for color changing.....no shutter for black out -- just lamp on/off. The problem is they can't keep up with fast chases or scene changes. The lamp is trying to shut off and on.....relay is clicking...and it just can't change that fast. The 250's are dimmable with an electronic transformer. Do you think they'd be able to blackout and light faster than the 150's. I really want to be avle to move through some chases / scenes at a decent pace without the lights just looking like a random mess trying to keep up. I know the higher end changers have more features such as blackout shutters and whatnot but I'm trying to keep cost down....
