I have a DMX Operator and I know how to
program scenes, place them in banks and create chases. The problem is that when I am running the chases and the controller sequences through all of the scenes in all of the chases not just the one I chose. It does this when I have the auto button on. If I turn the auto button off, it does not do anything except go to the first scene of the chase I chose. Anyone have any ideas? |

if on auto mode, it will run through all the chases, and in non-auto mode it does the first scene/step of your chase and thats it? There maybe some faulty programming in it. Try using the tap-sync button (if there is one, i forget if there is) and see if it moves your chase in non-auto mode. Or, you can call ADJ support, and ask them for some ideas. After all, they are the brains behind the products.

i gave up using chases with the DMX operator about a year ago. What i do instead is build chases inside a bank and then pressing auto and letting the scenes in that bank run through as a chase. This illiminates the need for any annoying parts of the operators chase system.

I don't use the chases very much either. Chasing through the scenes in the bank works dandy for me too.
Sounds like you need to clear your chase from the memory and start over. When I used to play with the chases, I would forget to delete the previously programmed chase. When I went to auto mode, the controller would play the new scenes in the chase as well as the old chase from the previous programming party. |
