I have a Fusion Scan 250EX, that is about a year and a half old. Recently it decided to start malfunctioning.

First the dichoric wheel got stuck on white, and wouldn't respond to dmx input. Thinking it maybe a dmx problem i put the light in standalone mode, and it did the same.

Second the gobo wheel locked on blackout.

Third the light kicks on after powerup for about 10 seconds, then clicks off.

I've tried doing the reset from the menu. I have take the metal cover off where the lens is to see the motors, they appear to turn freely and reset to position 1 at power on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an electrical issue. I would give service a ring since they are better qualified to handle/advise on the issue based upon the symptoms.

I agree. Call our Service dept. Number should be in the manual for the fixtures.
