I just ordered (4) DJ Spot 250's. I control my entire light show using a computer based software/hardware system.
Just breezing through the DJ Spot manual - I do not see a channel that would allow me to "Black Out" the units.
Channel 1 - Controls Pan
Channel 2 - Controls Tilt
Channel 3 - Controls Color Wheel
Channel 4 - Controls Gobo Wheel
Channel 5 - Special Functions (strobe etc.)
Channel 6 - Pan & Tilt Speed
Don't see anyway to acomplish a black out. No channel controls "Dimmer" or "Shutter" (open/Close)
Obviously you can cut power to the lights, but who wants to do that.
From what I am seeing - If I want my DJ Spots to go to "Black" so I can do just a "Par Can" wash or something, I Cant accomplish that.
Accuspot and even DJ Scan's allow you to accomplish a Blackout via a DMX Channel.
Any Ideas?
