I have a couple Fantasy 250 running DMX. My understanding is that the bulb is to stay on all the time, with the shutter closing when not in use. One of the fixtures will not stay on all the time. Any suggestions?

are you saying the the lamp goes out? If so the lamp could be going bad and it could be time for a new one or you are having a lamp sensor issue. It thinks it is getting too hot and it shuts the lamp off to avoid it from overheating. That could be it. I'm not too sure. If anything give our tech support a call when you can. Sincerely,

The cooling fans were burned out. Replaced them and now the work fine, except for some DMX problems. I normally only use these lights on the weekends, but have them permanently mounted. Is it a good idea to flip the breaker off during the week to conserve bulb life?

YES! and make sure the lamps trigger on by powering on if you can. should be a setting in the manual that tells you how to do this.

Oh yeah you bet! If you dont, you will turn those long life bulbs into short life bulbs!! lol

I have seens lots of places who have their lights on brakers and they were on doing nothing with the shutters closed! What a waste of a bulb
