Hello,
I am thinking about purchasing a DMX operator 1 and wanted to know how to you control the X/Y movements on this controller if there isnt a joystick? |

You just use the sliders. Say you have a pocket scan set at the DMX address one, then slider one controls pan, slider two controls tilt, slider three controls color and so on.

Just like keviedtaco said you use sliders to control different things. If you move the Y axis slider up all the way the light will pan up, if you centre the slider the light will pan down to it's half way point so on. Same with color up all the way may be red move the slider a bit farther down and you get another color then down again and you get another so on. If you have a fixture that strobes their will be a slider that will control it's strobe speed.
Hope this helps |
