I am converting from LMX to DMX.I have ordered an Operator Pro to control my existing Par cans and my new LED lights. A DMX dimmer pack as well. I have no intelligent lighting at the moment, but want to make sure the OpPro will take care of the RGB functions of my LED 64's, MegaBars and Megapixels.

Sound,
I am looking to get rid of my Op Pro since I just got the MyDMX software. It is in new condition with very low time and will throw in the memory chip too. I have all the original boxes if you might be interested. Thanks, Ric |

Thanks, but my stuff is already ordered. I do sound system design and installations for a local shop and this stuff is payment for a job.

I was reading up on the DMX Operator Pro, and from what you say you are getting for lights the Op Pro should be more than fine for the job, because you can group fixtures together, also if you wanted to you can take some of those lights and assign them the same DMX address. Then just patch them to a fixture button. Same goes for the par can side. You can set the DMX address to the same address for each dimmer pack, that way one fader can control any number of par can lights you have on the channel. This setting works for either the old par cans or the 4-channel led type par cans. nightraven I am interested send me your email Damn that was cool! |

You can really do that with ANY dmx controller just got to be resourceful in addressing and how many fixtures you use. also it should be noted this cuts back on individual fixture programming abilities.
